Potter's House Los Angeles is not affiliated with Bishop T.D. Jakes Ministries or The Potter's House (TPH) located in Dallas, Texas.

 

 

Potter's House Los Angeles (PHLA) is part of Christian Fellowship Ministries which is an International Fellowship of over 2300 churches founded by Pastor  Wayman Othell Mitchell, currently established in 120 nations. The churches within The Fellowship are usually known as The Potter’s House, The Door Church or Victory Chapel.  

 

The future Potter's House Los Angeles was first pioneered by Pastor Angel Ortis in Pico Rivera, CA in 1998. Pastor Angel built a powerful core of believers in the 2 short years he was in California. In June of 2000 Pastor Ortis was stirred by God to go to Juarez, Mexico as a missionary. Pastor Joe Stephens and family took over the Pico Rivera church in 2000. In 2016, Pastor Mike Major and family moved from Clearwater, Florida to lead PHLA. God continues to establish a powerful church that has influence around the world.



The congregation has been located in Pico Rivera, Whittier, Bell Gardens and Santa Fe Springs. Through all the many moves the church has continued to grow and has faithfully kept its vision to reach its local community as well as have influence in other countries. After many years of praying for a stable location, God has worked a miracle on our behalf. The Potter's House finally has an opportunity to purchase a building in South Los Angeles, and have a permanent facility to operate from.  South Los Angeles is an area filled with opportunity.
